A note on how coverage works
An eSIM does not have its own network. It roams onto whichever local partner network is available where you are, which is why the same plan can work across 83 countries without you doing anything.
It also means coverage inside a country is the local operator’s coverage. In remote areas, at sea, or underground, service behaves exactly as any local phone would. If you are travelling somewhere genuinely remote, plan for that the same way you would with any carrier.
Coverage can change as partner agreements change. If a country you rely on is affected, we will tell you rather than let you find out at the airport.
